1.  A) Can I book my room for dates outside of the event?

Yes, you can. If you'd like to arrive a few days early or stay a few days longer, you can book your room at the same special event price per day.

     B) Do I need to pay during my booking?

No, immediate payment is not required.

To secure your room, you simply need to provide your credit card details during the online booking process.

The actual payment will be processed by the hotel a few weeks before your arrival, in accordance with the hotel's cancellation policy.

If you prefer to pay immediately after booking, you may send a request directly to the Hotel, and they will provide you with instructions on how to complete your payment sooner.

Please note the following deadlines to secure your rate:

• Early Bird Price: You must complete your booking by December 31, 2025.

• Standard Price: Bookings must be completed at least one month before the event date to guarantee your spot.

 

2. What does the €65 price (€75 standard price) per person per day include?

The price is for one person in a standard double room and includes:

• Accommodation

• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Daily practicas and milongas

• The Marathon Milongas (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

• Water, coffee, soft drinks, and snacks during the day and during the practicas and milongas

(Please note that the tango classes are not included at this price. For someone who likes to attend, there is a fee €15  per class)

3. How do I book my spot for the event?

Booking your spot requires two simple steps:

Step 1: Complete the Registration Form

• First, fill out the official Registration Form here.

Step 2: Book Your Hotel Room

• Next, click the "Book Now" button on our site. This will take you directly to the hotel's booking page, where the special event code "Tango65" will be pre-filled.

• Choose your preferred room and dates.

🚨 Payment and Deadline Notice

• The Hotel will process the payment using your card details a few weeks before your arrival, based on their policy.

• Important: To secure the Early Bird Price, you must complete your booking by December 31, 2025. Bookings completed after this date will be subject to the standard prices. 

 

4.  What time can I check in on the day of my arrival?

You can check in at any time and immediately start enjoying the all-inclusive services.
Officially, rooms are available from 15:00, but if your room is ready earlier, the hotel staff will do their best to let you have it before the official check-in time.

 

5.  A) Do you accept registrations from solo dancers?

Yes, we accept single dancers! However, to ensure a balanced 50/50 ratio, we may occasionally place solo registrations on a waiting list until a corresponding partner registers.

    B) I haven't found a roommate yet. Can I still book?

Yes, absolutely. We recommend that you book a single room for now to secure your spot and the best price.

Once you find a roommate, you can easily switch your reservation to a double room without incurring any extra administrative fees. You will only be required to pay the difference in price between the single and double room rates.

6. Why is the price so affordable?

The main reason we are able to offer such an attractive and low price is that the Royal & Imperial Belvedere Resort is a proud sponsor of our event, generously subsidizing the cost for all participants.

7. I'm traveling alone and would like to share a room. Can you help me find a roommate?

Yes. Please fill out the form below, and we will connect you with other solo tangueros who are also looking for a roommate.

Please note: You remain fully and solely responsible for any inconvenience or dispute that may arise from sharing a room with a person you do not know.

8. Can I book only for the Tango Marathon weekend?

Yes. While we highly recommend the full week of tango holidays, you can certainly choose to join us the days you like or only for the main part of the events, from Friday to Monday, when the Tango Marathons will take place.

9. I am living in the area close to the hotel. Can I participate without booking a room ?

​Yes. Tangueros-as, from the local tango community, who don't stay at the hotel, can register for the classes and Milongas and participate with a fee: €15 per tango class, €10 per daily Milonga and €20 per marathon Milonga. (Soon we will upload here special offers for Milonga pass and WS pass)

10. How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

The hotel is located in  Hersonissos, about a 20-minute drive from the Heraklion "N. Kazantzakis" International Airport. You can easily get there by bus, taxi, or a rental car. You can check the map here.
